County Coordinators

  • Become familiar with all information and procedures contained on this site including the Rules for Local Spelling Bees.
  • Check to be sure all public and private schools in the county have received information letters from the Scripps National Spelling Bee office and the Alabama Spelling Bee. Contact the Alabama Spelling Bee office if a duplicate is needed.
  • Check to be sure all participating public and private schools have enrolled with Scripps.
  • Refer home school inquiries to the Home School Coordinator.
  • If your county has district bees, be sure a coordinator is in place to conduct area bees and meet deadlines.
